Spring Tryouts/Registration
| Here at the Truro Cheer Club, we aim to create an atmosphere that offers athletes of all ages consistent and high quality of instruction to enhance their cheerleading skills. We ensure professional training from our staff. It is the goal of the Truro Cheer Club to not only produce top athletes, but to provide a challenging, rewarding learning environment for all. When we first started in 1994 we were the only club team in NS and had one team with 20 athletes and bounced from location to location. Over the years we practiced in fire halls, school gyms, church halls and then found a semi-temporary home at the Cobequid Spartans Gymnastics Club. After a few years there we out grew the time available and started looking for our own location. In 2005 we found that home at 50-C Juniper St. Now in 2007 we have over 60 members with 3 competitive teams and 1 recreation program and continue to grow. We are a USASF, IASF NSGA and NSCC member gym and we have coaches who are USASF credentialed. We have competitive and Non-competitive classes for athletes in a facility that is especially set up to give each athlete exactly what cheerleaders need. Our facility offers a full spring floor, plus numerous training aids to learn tumbling progression for cheerleaders. No matter what your age we have a class or team for you. In addition for our cheerleading classes , we will also offer tumbling classes to our members either through private, semi-private or full class setups.
